Façonnable, 2017

In the event Façonnable, McDonald collaborated with the curators of the Tide Gallery ( Dryer turned white cube - Kristen Webber and Declan Hoy), and invited participants to partake in a celabratory ritual in which hand sewing skills were taught and practiced in order to create a wrap for the dryer Gus.
Calgary Cleaning Exchange, 2016-Ongoing
Calgary Cleaning Exchange is an ongoing site specific performative practice in which the artist cleans and maintains art spaces (including studios and galleries) within the community of Calgary.  The cleaning is meant to be an immersive act that allows the artist to connect and learn more about the spaces in which art is made and displayed in the city.
Please contact the artist if you are interested in engaging in a collaborative exchange.
